Father Andrew's open letter to parents of our Greek Folk Dancers

Dear Parents of Greek Folk Dancers,

It is a great joy to have your children as part of the Assumption Greek Orthodox Folk Dance program. The Folk Dance program seeks to strengthen bonds between the children with the hope they will last a lifetime. The program also teaches the beauty and joy of Hellenic culture. We are very encouraged by the response of the children to this ministry and look forward to making it the very best experience for all who participate!

In order for your children to participate in the Assumption Greek Orthodox Folk Dance program the following guidelines are in place:

1. The family must be members in good standing and Stewards of Assumption Greek Orthodox Church.
2. The children must be registered in the current Sunday school program.
3. Children must attend Divine Liturgy on the mornings prior to practice sessions.
4. Regular attendance in Sunday school is required to remain a participant in the Dance program.

These guidelines are established to ensure the children are active members of the church and understand that they are participating in a ministry.
