About Our GOYA
As of 2009, Assumption organized its large teen population into two groups, a Junior GOYA, which includes 6th through 8th grades; and a Senior GOYA, which includes 9th through 12th grades.
Your son or daughter's involvement in GOYA gives them a sensible community to belong to and provides a fun and healthy environment for their development and maturity into adulthood. GOYA involvement also provides an opportunity for spiritual growth and Christian formation.
Senior GOYA events are generally held twice a month throughout the year. Information about upcoming events will be posted on this page and on the Assumption GOYA FaceBook Page and given out during Sunday School classes.

ATTENTION High School Juniors & Seniors

The Office of Vocation & Ministry at Hellenic College is now accepting applications for the CrossRoad summer institute. CrossRoad invites only Orthodox high school juniors and seniors to apply. CrossRoad is an exciting summer vocation exploration program to help students discern their callings and match their God-given gifts with the needs of the world.
Described by many (including Assumption's own Brandon Fornier, who participated last summer) as a "life-changing experience," the CrossRoad program combines the greatest gifts of Hellenic College/Holy Cross through faculty instruction and participation, an enthusiastic staff of graduate students, the beautiful campus, and of course the exciting city of Boston. Program activities include daily classes with Orthodox faculty, Vespers each evening at neighboring parishes in the Boston area, and service projects.
Through grants and generous donors, each accepted applicant receives a full scholarship and is only responsible for travel costs to/from Boston.
- Session 1: June 19–29, 2010
