Rest on Christ (ROC) Juvenile Prison Ministry

Christ Teaches the Children Icon

February 2010 news on cuts proposed for the AZ Department of Juvenile Corrections.

Participating in the Rest On Christ ministry does not demand a particular talent, skill, or background.  Rather, the R.O.C. ministry requires one to faithfully love Christ, and their willingness to share Him with others.  Please consider becoming a weekly mentor, or part of a monthly ministry team.

In 2008 and again in 2010, the Arizona Department of Juvenile Corrections, Adobe Mountain School, awarded R.O.C. the Outstanding Community Partner Award  for efforts as a volunteer in the Adopt-a-cottage program.

For more information about :

The adopt-a-cottage team going to the boys' or girls' juvenile facility, contact Victoria Keegan .

The mentoring one-to-one, with youth at a juvenile facility, contact Victoria Keegan .

A complimentary prayer ministry takes place the first Thursday night of each month at 6PM in the church.  This is the Akathist Prayer ministry and is directed by Fran Gallo. For more information on The Akathist Prayer Ministry for children, contact Fran Gallo.
