2012 Stewardship Information (FAQ)

Assumption Greek Orthodox Church was Consecrated on Sunday October 30, 2011 by His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios and His Eminence Metropolitan Gerasimos. This day marks a new beginning for our community. It is our prayer that the blessings bestowed upon the church building may flow and abound in the hearts of the faithful.

We have received the privilege of being Stewards or Caretakers of God’s household ~ His holy Church and its’ ministries. Each has received blessings, talents, wisdom and particular gifts that are for the benefit of others and the building up of God’s kingdom. We are collectively responsible for providing a loving, caring, spirit-filled community so that the children under our care may indeed see Christ in all of us.

As you prayerfully consider your stewardship commitment for 2012 please consider making a new beginning in offering your talents as well for the glory of God. Our financial commitment is very important because it provides necessary funding for God’s work to be accomplished through the ministries of the Church.
